We are excited to invite you to celebrate our 25 year high school reunion in Marshalltown which will be held the weekend of Homecoming, Thursday September 14th 2023 through Saturday September 16th 2023. Here’s our planned line up of events:
Homecoming Parade – Be on the look out for the 1998 Class entry celebrating our 25 year Reunion!
Time: 6:00pm
Gutter Point Welcome Party at Wayward Social– Please join us for a pre-game social before the Varsity Homecoming Football game. Cash bar available and food menu available for purchase on your own. Note: Over 21 only in Gutter Point Bar area, other areas of Wayward Social all ages.
Time: 5:00
Homecoming Game – Please join us for the first Homecoming Game at the newly renovated stadium as the Bobcats take on Newton, featuring our very own ‘98 grad James Christensen is Assistant Coach.
Time: 7:00
Cost: Admission to game on your own $7 per person
25 year Re-union t-shirt available for pre-purchase $20.00. Deadline for ordering 8/29 to have in time for the reunion. Any order after 8/29 will be mailed to you.
MHS Tour - Please join us for a stroll down memory lane as Mrs. Chandler leads a tour of MHS, including the new athletic complex. Meet at the front entrance of the High School.
Time: 1-2pm
Scavenger Hunt - Due to low numbers the scavenger hunt has been canceled. Please join us for an adventure around Marshalltown where you’ll be sent places that are guaranteed to bring back memories. Download the Goosechase app ahead of time from your app store!
Time: 2-4pm
90’s Party – Please join us for a social hour, dinner and a 90’s dance party with live DJ at the American Legion. A BBQ dinner will be catered by Last Ride BBQ, the award winning Flying Elbow owner. Cash bar available. Dressing as your high school self is encouraged! If you can't join us for dinner Saturday night feel free to stop by later and catch up anyway.
Time: 5:30 to 11pm
Social hour 5:30
Dinner 6:30
Dance Party with DJ: 7:30 to 11pm
Cost: $30.00 per person; plus 25 year Re-union Koozie available for pre-purchase $5.00.
***Please register if you plan to attend Saturday night dinner. Early bird pricing of $30/person is open through 8/29, and regular pricing is $35/person.
**If you can't join us for dinner Saturday night feel free to stop by and catch up anyway. No registration required!
